Designed for use with the PIO-12 digital interface, the Model ERB-24 24 channel DPDT relay output board offers the programmer 24 electromechanical double pole double throw relays for efficient switching of loads by programmed control. Each relay contains two N.C. and N.0. contacts for controlling up to a 3 amp load at 120 Vac per contact. These relays offer the user zero leakage output currents, compared to the solid state relay alternative. The relays may be energized by applying a 5 V signal to the appropriate relay channel on the 37 pin "D" connector located on the board. Another method is to connect the board directly to any digital output board, which provides TTL switching capabilities. The signal driving current for each relay is l.4 mA max. When the ERB-24 is used with the PIO-12, the user can control 24 loads such as heaters, fans, pumps, solenoid valves and lights. 24 annunciator LED's, one for each relay, light when their associated relay is activated. This feature aids in trouble shooting and ease of use. Screw terminals on the board offer easy connection to your application and will accept wire sizes 12 to 22 AWG. The board may be rack mounted with
4-40 screws for your convenience.
